Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our Operational Accounting team within the Refined Products and Crude business segment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Management: Oversee revenue streams from various sources, ensuring accurate and timely recognition in line with accounting standards.
  • Inventory Oversight: Collaborate with operational teams to maintain accurate inventory records and track the movement of petroleum products.
  • Contract Administration: Manage revenue contracts, including tariff billing and ancillary services.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial closing procedures, variance analysis, and balance sheet account reviews.
  • Account Reconciliation: Prepare reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurate and well-supported.
  • Internal Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and better understand business needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with regulations and internal controls, supporting external audits as necessary.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and recommend improvements in financial operations to boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Cross-Departmental Cooperation: Work with various departments to gather financial information and support business initiatives.

Qualifications
