Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify opportunities and grow the federal IT pipeline.
  • Develop strategies for capturing contracts over $50 million and lead capture efforts to achieve success.
  • Manage teams and resources to ensure timely completion of capture goals.
  • Maintain strong connections with federal agencies to influence requirements and ensure proposals align with customer needs.
  • Oversee capture budgets and resource allocation, and engage stakeholders to keep leadership informed.
  • Implement process enhancements and best practices using tools like Salesforce to drive improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of IT Federal civilian government contracting experience, particularly with agencies like the Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce, USPTO, IRS, FDIC, Census, DoD, DHS, etc.
  • 8 years of experience as a Capture Manager with proven success in capturing Federal civilian market opportunities valued at over $50 million.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, team leadership and project management experience, and deep relationships within the Federal government and contracting community.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and MS Office suite, knowledge of Agile business process management and improvement strategies, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another technical related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance is preferred, and the role is hybrid with one day per week or as needed in the REI Sterling Office.
