Job DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse at Genesis HealthCare, you will provide compassionate care to patients with complex diagnoses. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing nursing assessments and collaborating with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
- Establishing realistic, measurable short and long-term patient goals with interventions put in place as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and continued evaluation of outcomes.
- Administering medications and performing treatments per physician orders.
- Delegating patient care responsibilities to staff and supervising them to ensure that tasks and interventions are implemented.
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an approved school and current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification is required.
- One to three years of experience working as a RN in a related setting is preferred.
