Job Summary

The Transplant Clinical Supervisor (TCS) plays a critical role in supporting the transplant center's clinical operations. This position will provide daily clinical support to the directors and transplant center nurses, manage education and orientation competencies, and assist with the development of educational and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision to RNCC staff
  • Support transplant nurses with problem-solving and barriers to care
  • Participate in after-hours administrative on-call for the transplant center
  • Assist with managing orientation for new hires and transfers
  • Coordinate learning opportunities for staff to facilitate orientation and competency validation
  • Develop and maintain program-specific patient education materials and policies
  • Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, and physicians regarding educational needs and offerings
Requirements
  • BSN required; MSN preferred
  • Five (5) years of nursing, clinical educator, or nursing instructor experience required
  • Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required
  • BLS required; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP Instructor level certification preferred
