About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our Transplant Center team at Duke Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide daily clinical support to our directors and transplant center nurses, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision to RNCC staff and assist with problem-solving concerns and barriers to care.
  • Participate in after-hours administrative on-call for the transplant center and assist with managing orientation for all new hires and transfers.
  • Coordinate learning opportunities for staff within assigned locations to facilitate orientation, competency validation, and meet ongoing learning needs.
  • Develop and maintain program-specific patient education materials, DTC policies, and programmatic operational workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, administrative leadership, and physician leadership regarding educational needs and offerings.
Requirements
  • BSN required; MSN preferred.
  • Five (5) years of nursing, clinical educator, or nursing instructor experience required.
  • Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina required.
  • BLS required; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP Instructor level certification is preferred.
