Job Summary:

This recruitment aims to establish an 18-month eligibility list to fill current and future vacancies. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, engineering, constructing, installing, and coordinating telecommunications equipment, systems, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in land mobile radio Frequency Modulation (FM) two-way radio, microwave, fiber optic, and electronic communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering studies involving equipment, applications, or theoretical analyses.
  • Design, engineer, construct, install, and coordinate telecommunications equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to extensive (5+ years) journey-level experience related to land mobile radio Frequency Modulation (FM) two-way radio, microwave, fiber optic, and electronic communications systems.
  • Must have technical certification (e.g., FCC General Class License, PCIA or APCO Technical Certificate, CET Journeyman Certificate with a Communications endorsement, or equivalent).
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver license.
Working Conditions:

The selected candidate will work in an office setting and may be required to travel to various locations, including hoteling spaces. The candidate must be able to work in all forms of weather and conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, blizzards, heavy snowfall, icy roads, and muddy roads.
