About the Job

KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiological Technologist to join our team at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex physiological and radiological procedures, working closely with physicians and cardiology fellows to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform specialized radiographic exams, including cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and coronary stent placement.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including x-ray systems, contrast injectors, and image management systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  • Recognize and respond to emergencies, making adjustments to equipment and procedures as needed.
  • Prepare patients for angiographic, angioplasty, and other procedures, adhering to aseptic and sterile techniques.
Requirements
  • Current and active registration as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist and/or Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT).
  • Minimum of five years relevant clinical experience, with a minimum of one year of general radiology experience in a level 1 hospital setting.
  • Proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months.
