The successful candidate will be a key member of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process, clinical skills, and leadership to provide high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities- Analyze patient health problems and needs, developing comprehensive nursing care plans to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide cost-efficient care with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a focus on emergency care.
- No prior experience is required for new graduates, although 1-2 years of experience in a specialty area or related clinical experience may be beneficial.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina, BCLS certification, and additional certifications required in specialty areas.
- Good interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, self-motivation, and a strong customer focus.
The role requires exposure to blood-borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, and other infectious diseases, necessitating the use of protective equipment. The ability to use appropriate Safe-Patient Handling equipment, maintain visual acuity, auditory and verbal skills, and concentrate in surroundings is essential.
