Overview:

The Vehicle Fueling and Cleaning Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that all vehicles are adequately prepared for service. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining the fleet's operational readiness and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all vehicles are fully fueled and ready for operation.
  2. Perform thorough cleaning of vehicle exteriors and interiors in accordance with service agreements.
  3. Verify that emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and first aid kits, are stocked and in working order.
  4. Document and report any fleet damages to the management team.
  5. Maintain the work area in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
  6. Conduct daily cleaning of the shop area, including mopping and trash disposal.
  7. Assist with facility cleaning tasks as needed, including trash removal, window cleaning, restroom maintenance, and vacuuming.
  8. Post required notices in vehicles as directed by clients.
  9. Ensure that all vehicles are equipped with necessary system brochures.
  10. Support maintenance staff and management as required.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance regulations.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possession of a CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, as well as a favorable background check. For safety-sensitive positions, a physical examination may be required.
