Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loan Registration-Disclosure Coordinator to join our team at Emporium TPO. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of residential mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Registration and Disclosure: Coordinate the initial process of loan registration and disclosure, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Direct the activities of our outsourcing vendor, including monitoring aged loan submissions, addressing escalations, and ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Quality Control: Review newly submitted loan files for quality, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring all application information is accurately updated in the system.
  • Disclosure Generation: Generate and send initial disclosures and Change of Circumstance (COC's) LE's and CD's in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Pre-Underwriting Requirements: Ensure all pre-underwriting requirements are complete, and timely submissions of new loans to the underwriting queue in the loan operating system.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate and explain loan application deficiencies to Account Executives and Mortgage Brokers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage and audit for strict adherence to RESPA, Dodd-Frank, and HMDA regulations, ensuring all work is performed within company-defined guidelines and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience working on Disclosure Desk or Change of Circumstance, preferably in the mortgage industry.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-identification and resolution skills, basic understanding of agency guidelines and processing, ability to function efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines, detail-oriented with the ability to problem-solve and prioritize.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
