Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Teton Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia is a leading provider of rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. Our mission is to provide personalized care for each of our patients that enhances their well-being and quality of life.

We offer a range of services, including:

  • Personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • A robust activities department with on average two large activities each day
  • A contract with a dentist to help with caring for the oral health of our residents
  • A cosmetologist who visits our facility once a week

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide basic nursing assistance and assist residents with daily living activities. This includes:

  • Assisting residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
  • Obtaining food trays and assisting residents with eating
  • Assisting residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas
  • Assisting resident with turning and positioning in bed
  • Assisting resident with ambulation as indicated in the facility

You will also be responsible for:

  • Taking and recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
  • Documenting ADLs, resident personal cares, and device use on flow sheets or task sheets as directed
  • Attending interdisciplinary meetings as needed to provide input into selected resident's plans of care
  • Documenting restorative services provided following facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment
  • Valid CPR certificate preferred
  • Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred
