Accounting Systems Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Senior Associate, Accounting Systems. In this role, you will execute and focus on Accounting Systems processes in support of our strategy and vision. Your responsibilities will be linked to the day-to-day functioning, as well as planning, coordination, and implementation of changes across our Accounting Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis process breakdowns and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Understand financial system value stream
  • Administer system configuration changes
  • Participate in review meetings to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
  • Recommend changes or modifications to the existing processes and standards
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of processes that impact Accounting Systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a combination
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • At least 3 years of experience with Financial Systems
  • At least 3 years of experience with automated reconciliation systems
  • At least 1 year of experience with QuickSight, Tableau, or a combination
  • At least 1 year of experience with SQL
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or a combination
