Job Summary:

The Night Monitor will provide monitoring and security for the housing facility and residents, during the day or overnight based on schedule.

This position is located at an affordable housing program designed specifically for the elderly and includes health, wellness, and recreational activities for 40 seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee house operations and respond to client issues at night or during the day based on schedule
  • Conduct regular house walk-throughs and submit shift logs at the end of each shift
  • Perform drug tests, as needed
  • Respond to emergency situations and contact management as needed, develop serious incident report when needed
  • Perform various administrative tasks, as needed
  • Monitor and document client medications
  • Perform cleaning duties
  • Assist in meal preparation
  • Enforce the policies of the program

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in social services and experience providing services to seniors
  • HS Diploma/GED; 3-5 years of experience in social services and experience providing services to seniors
  • CPR/First Aid certification

  • Ability to work with diverse audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Word, Excel, & Outlook)

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods
  • Must be able to move around all levels/floors of the building
