About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to join our team at Peabody Properties, Inc. This is a full-time exempt position responsible for managing a portfolio of properties on Massachusetts' South Coast.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Operations: Oversee the physical, financial, and administrative operations of the buildings within the portfolio, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train site property managers, maintenance staff, and other personnel, providing guidance on property operations, resident relations, and government housing regulations.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure revenue collection and expense management practices are consistent and effective.
  • Resident Relations: Foster positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Government Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including LIHTC recertification and Section 8 requirements.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Market commercial space to attract qualified tenants, negotiate lease transactions, and implement affirmative marketing outreach efforts to meet or exceed minority goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of related property management experience.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of OneSite, proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, strong communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills.
