About the Role:

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Systems Test Engineer to support a major SIGINT acquisition system program office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures to ensure the integration and testing of space, bus, and ground functions into an existing enterprise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with various integration and testing approaches.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test objectives, plans, success criteria, and requirement closure methods.
  • Work closely with developers, mission partners, and government customers to ensure successful testing and delivery of space systems.
  • Perform SETA duties, including development of briefs, communication of program status, and identification of process improvements.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with testing and integration approaches.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
  • 5 years of experience with testing of space and ground systems and integration into a larger enterprise.
  • Experience with AGILE concepts and satisfaction of requirements.
  • Satellite development experience with low and medium earth systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform SETA duties, including development of briefs and communication of program status.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes, including risk, configuration management, verification methodologies, requirements, deviations, and waivers.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in engineering discipline or systems engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience with space and ground testing.
  • Understanding of Integration and Testing best practices (Aerospace TOR).
  • Experience developing and executing Test Procedures using Test Like You Fly (TLYF).
  • Clearly define measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Specific knowledge of the NRO and its processes.
  • Domain expertise in SIGINT space systems.

Clearance and Travel Requirements:

Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph clearance required. May travel within CONUS up to 20% of the year.
