The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes enterprise architectural assessments, systems engineering and integration, test, planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, acquisition support, and cybersecurity. We are trusted partners developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging high priority needs, assessing cutting-edge technologies, and supporting capabilities for our National Defense.

The Intelligence Programs Group, part of Systems Planning and Analysis Inc.'s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Financial Information: While we cannot disclose our company's budget, we estimate the salary for this role to be in the range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on national averages for Radar Systems Engineers in the United States.

Responsibilities

The Radar Systems Engineer will be working in a dynamic environment side-by-side with the US Government customer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Focus on providing engineering and project management of System of System (SoS) software solutions defining Solution Epics, Architectures diagrams, and tracking dependencies.
  2. Analyze interfaces and schedules to maximize iterative integration opportunities and verify acceptance criteria via Solution Demonstrations and Enterprise Tests.
  3. Facilitate integration focused Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) and frequently brief recommendations to senior Government representatives.
  4. Define Agile Solution Epics to ensure interfaces are well defined, CONOPS is fully represented, and data definitions and dependencies are documented to enable development and integration.
  5. Analyze Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Requests for Changes (RFCs), assessing what modifications and enhancements are needed for future capabilities.
  6. Create architecture diagrams such as: System View 1 (SV-1) and sequence diagrams to articulate how data flows across multiple software segments to exchange messages and produce Intelligence.
  7. Evaluate RADAR data and metadata exchanges across software systems to enable end to end data collection and processing.
  8. Plan and orchestrate Informal Integration Windows (IIWs) and Solution Demonstrations to iteratively integrate and conduct early Verification and Validation.
  9. Support enterprise cross-organization formal System Tests prior to major software deliveries into Operations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Must Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
  2. 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with a related field and relevant experience
  3. Experience with Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and/or Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT)
  4. Knowledge of GEOINT systems, CONOPS, and metadata
  5. Experience with requirements, architecture and interface analysis, Agile integration, and informal/formal testing
