Key Responsibilities- Conduct and Document Medical Nutrition Therapy: Conduct initial and ongoing nutritional assessments, develop care plans, monitor patient progress, and provide education and training on diets and nutrition-related matters.
- Participate in Interdisciplinary Patient Care Teams: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and Maintain Nutrition-Related Educational Materials: Assist in creating educational resources for patients and staff.
- Assist with Patient Food Service Monitoring and Evaluation: Help monitor and evaluate the quality of patient food services.
- Current Registration by the American Dietetic Association (RD): Must be registered by the American Dietetic Association and hold a Texas Dietitian License (LD).
- RD Eligible Candidates: RD eligible candidates may be considered, but must obtain registration within six months of employment.
