Role Overview:

The Retail Sales Representative / E-commerce Support plays a vital role in connecting products with customers while also managing inventory and online sales tasks behind the scenes.

In this position, you will be responsible for promoting and selling products from various local companies at our retail outlet. Your role will also encompass supporting e-commerce operations, including order processing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers, address inquiries, enhance engagement with products, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the products and featured companies to effectively respond to customer questions.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, handle financial transactions, and ensure accurate cash drawer management.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Guide customers to find products within the store.
  • Boost in-store sales through effective product promotion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and storage area.
  • Introduce promotions and special product information to customers.
  • Facilitate e-commerce order fulfillment with precision and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory control within a retail environment.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing stock deliveries.
  • Prepare and assemble gift sets for customers.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, merchandising, and e-commerce practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Native Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, and/or Korean is advantageous.
