Sales Support Associate Job Description

The Sales Support Associate plays a vital role in assisting our Sales Consultants with various tasks, ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient sales processes. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Sales Consultants with answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and preparing documents.
  • Schedule loaners for sales and service customers, manage vehicle loaners, and obtain necessary paperwork.
  • Meet and greet sales customers in the absence of Sales Consultants, schedule port-installed options, and perform product demonstrations.
  • Update DealerTrack reports, prospects, pending deals, and sold units.
  • Assist with vehicle delivery, including handling delivery paperwork and ensuring all accessories are installed according to customer specifications.
  • Quality inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure they are in excellent condition with all options installed and gas tanks fueled.
  • Maintain Sales Consultants' offices, monitor loaner/sold unit keys, and call customers when license plates arrive.
  • Assist with parts, get ready forms, and purchase orders.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum six months of customer service work experience.
  • Automotive sales or service experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer relations skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • DealerTrack knowledge preferred, valid driver's license, and good driving record.
  • Ability to operate standard and automatic transmission for various vehicle sizes.
  • Must be customer-focused, practice active listening skills, detail-oriented, organized, and have good follow-through.
  • Self-started and able to multitask.
