About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Night Shift Engineer at CBRE, covering the Central Utility Plant and related functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining logs for all notable events throughout the shift, monitoring BMS computer systems, and responding to alarms as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Maintain logs for all notable events throughout the shift
  • Monitor BMS computer systems, respond to alarms as necessary
  • Start and stop air handlers, water pump skids, or otherwise assist shops with BMS needs
  • Log readings on all machinery and equipment
  • Respond to security's calls after hours concerning alarms and issues not on BMS or UMS
  • Monitor water treatment and de-ionized water system
  • Assist maintenance as needed and complete work orders as assigned
  • Perform vehicle inspections and Transformer Yard inspections
  • Monitor liquid nitrogen (N2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) utility system
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 4 or more years of experience in electrical systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC. They will also have the ability to obtain Universal CFC certification within the first year and additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
