Electrical Engineer - Data Center

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from Science and Technology to Mission Critical and Commercial.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading teams and designing projects from start to finish
  • Coordinating with clients, project managers, electrical team members, architects, and other disciplines
  • Developing feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, and engineering calculations
  • Performing RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, site investigations, and construction administration

We're looking for a candidate with a strong background in electrical design, a passion for mentoring and training junior engineers, and excellent leadership skills. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring and managing a team of Electrical Engineers, EITs, and BIM Specialists
  • Assisting Marketing and Business Development groups in developing fee proposals and scope of work documents
  • Working with clients to understand their project-specific requirements and providing detailed design and coordination with multidisciplinary team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems
