  • You will also be responsible for performing pre-testing procedures, such as assessing visual skills and eye movements, and preparing patients for exams.">
  • In addition, you will assist with therapeutic procedures, such as removing foreign bodies from eyes, and respond to patient concerns in a professional and courteous manner.">
  • Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively work with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care.">

Key Responsibilities

  2. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.">
  3. Assist medical providers with patient exams, including taking vital signs, performing pre-testing procedures, and preparing patients for exams.">
  4. Perform therapeutic procedures, such as removing foreign bodies from eyes, under the supervision of a licensed medical provider.">
  5. Respond to patient concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing empathetic and compassionate care.">
  6. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and efficient workflows.">
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote trust and satisfaction.">

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and competence in ophthalmic instruments, including auto-refractors, non-contact tonometers, and visual field testing equipment.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.">
  • Able to maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and KP standards.">
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.">
  • Familiarity with optometric and optical terminology, as well as basic knowledge of health information systems and electronic medical records.">

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
