Sushi Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Line Cook to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Sushi Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking sushi dishes to a high standard, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Comply with all food safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- 1+ years of experience working as a sushi/maki line cook.
- Excellent knife skills and knowledge of relevant ingredients and cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in culinary arts.
- Experience handling sashimi-quality fish and preparing sushi in a high-volume environment.
