Corporate Controller - SaaS Financial Leadership

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to take charge of our financial operations within the SaaS sector. This position is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including:
- Billing
- Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Accounts Payable (A/P)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cost Accounting
- Inventory Accounting
- Revenue Recognition
2. Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring timely reporting of variances.
3. Prepare and publish monthly financial statements promptly.
4. Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
5. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
6. Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax obligations.
8. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm or international firm is preferred.
- Advanced degree in Accounting is required; CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements and managing the month-end/year-end close process.
- Proficient in accounting software and administration.
- Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in the SaaS industry, including revenue recognition (ASC 606) and related areas.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
