BAE Systems is seeking a seasoned Aerospace Engineer to support the development of engineering requirements for an advanced reentry capabilities program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance to government officials and engineering teams.
- Assist in the development of requirements, conduct analysis of alternatives, and support verification and validation processes.
- Prepare and review engineering analysis reports and essential acquisition documents.
- Engage in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, and certification working groups as necessary.
- Mentor and guide junior engineering personnel.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with 12 years of aerospace or mechanical engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates should have at least 6 years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience as an aerospace or mechanical engineer on missile systems or complex weapon systems, preferably with ACAT I program or ICBM-related experience. A current Secret Clearance or higher is advantageous, along with knowledge of Air Force operations and acquisition programs.
