BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled Principal Aerospace Engineer to join our team in developing new capabilities for the Sentinel ICBM weapon system at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

This position will provide Modeling/Simulation & Engineering support to a large DoD acquisition program, focusing on the design, development, production, and deployment of new payload system suites.

The key payload attributes include enhancements in accuracy, lethality, and ICBM Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle (RS/RV) interoperable operations.

Additionally, the program will employ digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures.

Responsibilities will include support requirements development, analysis of alternatives, verification and validation activities, and milestone preparation.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering with 12+ years of Aerospace Engineering experience or a master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of Aerospace Engineering experience.

A current Secret clearance is also required.

Preferred candidates will have experience as an aerospace/mechanical engineer on a missile system or complex weapon system, especially ACAT I program or ICBM-related experience.

Full-Time Salary Range:

$195,660

This range is based on our market pay structures.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
