About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Software Engineering Program Manager to drive embedded SW development on new HW platforms for Apple Vision Pro. As a key member of the Vision Products Group, you will lead large, cross-functional efforts to deliver SW for new HW platforms, defining, scheduling, prioritizing, tracking, measuring, and communicating status.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of SW development efforts, including defining, scheduling, prioritizing, tracking, measuring, and communicating status.
  • Drive efforts across teams representing multiple layers of the software stack as well as other cross-functional partners (Hardware, Silicon).
  • Identify and mitigate risks, remove roadblocks, and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Develop new processes and ideas to improve project management and team collaboration.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on engineering or project management experience in embedded software, device drivers, and/or pre-silicon.
  • Experience putting together structure and schedules to mitigate ambiguity.
  • Experience driving various cross-functional teams toward one set of project goals.
  • Extraordinary verbal/written communication skills, ability to distill information for project goals.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, curious, pro-active with demonstrated critical thinking capability.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • BS/MS Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AR/VR systems software development.
