Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement microservices for a healthcare interoperability platform
  • Utilize Azure API Management to implement data exchange protocols and standards
  • Guarantee the security and privacy of patient information in accordance with HIPAA
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch innovative features
  • Employ Azure DevOps for the development of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with 5 to 7 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Life Sciences
  • In-depth knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data standards
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL and programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, JavaScript, C#, Python, or similar
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
  • Hands-on experience with OAuth, OAuth2, and Azure Key Vault
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, particularly Azure API Management and Azure DevOps

Preferred Skills:

  • Extensive experience in securing APIs and API management
  • Familiarity with security protocols, data encryption, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR)
