Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer Specialist to join our team at L3Harris Technologies. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for owning the test process, including concept, design, root cause analysis, and corrective action.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Process Ownership: Define, trace, and maintain test process requirements, ensuring seamless integration with design and systems engineering.
  • Test Procedure Creation: Develop and maintain test procedures, improving test yield through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Technical Expertise: Create product-related technical information in support of operations, ensuring overall technical performance for test engineering developments.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with engineering to facilitate the transition of products from design to production, providing input to support product life cycle management.
  • Project Management: Manage test engineering development projects, mentoring engineers with less experience and providing input to organizational vision.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical test consultation to internal organizations, contract manufacturers, or customers, representing test engineering in technical discussions.
  • Evaluation and Support: Evaluate contract manufacturers' capabilities, participate in product design reviews, and support manufacturing floor to overcome production issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Preferred Additional Skills: An active and current Clearance.
