Tax Director

Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Tax Services Director to join our Tax Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze tax returns, tax workpapers, and tax projections to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client savings.
- Provide exceptional client service and support, including coaching and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality results.
- Stay up-to-date on changing tax laws and regulations, and communicate key updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and expansion.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's in taxation preferred, CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with a strong background in commercial tax services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
