About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MOPA Laser Hardware Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Fremont, California. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for driving the manufacturing of MOPA lasers and systems, working closely with our global team to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise MOPA Laser manufacturing teams
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Interface with customers to establish product specifications, quality, and execution plans
  • Identify and implement new methods and protocols to accelerate product and component failure modes
  • Track and correct failures for products in the NPI process and in normal production
  • Ensure automated data collection and control of instruments, reporting data and analysis
  • Publish results to the business unit
Requirements
  • Bachelor's / Master's / PhD degree in a technical field with 10+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of MOPA Laser, YAG, lasers for material processing, high power lasers, pulsed lasers, ultrafast lasers
  • Ability to drive a team and work across international groups
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate work plans, schedules, and resource needs
