Clinical Psychologist II/SS

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist II/SS to join our team at the Department of Mental Health. As a key member of our professional treatment team, you will provide a wide range of psychological services, including assessment, evaluation, and treatment of mentally disturbed, emotionally or physically handicapped, or socially maladjusted patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Supervise and instruct trainees and other members of the treatment team
- Doctorate from an accredited college or university in psychology, educational psychology, education with the field of specialization in counseling psychology, or in a discipline deemed equivalent by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology
- License to practice as a psychologist issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology
- Experience providing psychotherapeutic treatment to the mentally or emotionally ill
- Experience conducting psychological research and studies
- Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. The successful candidate will be required to work any shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
