Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist II/SS to join our team at the Department of Mental Health. As a key member of our professional treatment team, you will provide a wide range of psychological services, including assessment, evaluation, and treatment of mentally disturbed, emotionally or physically handicapped, or socially maladjusted patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Supervise and instruct trainees and other members of the treatment team
Requirements
  • Doctorate from an accredited college or university in psychology, educational psychology, education with the field of specialization in counseling psychology, or in a discipline deemed equivalent by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology
  • License to practice as a psychologist issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology
  • Experience providing psychotherapeutic treatment to the mentally or emotionally ill
  • Experience conducting psychological research and studies
  • Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
