POSITION DETAILS:
- Location: Dayton, Ohio
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Travel Requirements: 30% or less
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience with an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in engineering
- Capability to execute all responsibilities autonomously
- Current Security Clearance required: Secret
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other specialized software applications
- Experience in high-visibility program aspects and mentoring junior personnel
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize engineering principles to enhance the performance of USAF weapon systems
- Conduct technical and mission analyses while developing system concepts
- Support the system safety engineering program and assess safety issues
- Generate technical evaluations, reports, and analyses
- Participate in project team meetings and technical reviews
- Evaluate equipment deficiencies and devise solutions
