POSITION DETAILS:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience with an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Capability to execute all responsibilities autonomously
  • Current Security Clearance required: Secret

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other specialized software applications
  • Experience in high-visibility program aspects and mentoring junior personnel

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize engineering principles to enhance the performance of USAF weapon systems
  • Conduct technical and mission analyses while developing system concepts
  • Support the system safety engineering program and assess safety issues
  • Generate technical evaluations, reports, and analyses
  • Participate in project team meetings and technical reviews
  • Evaluate equipment deficiencies and devise solutions
