Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is tasked with overseeing the management of inventory, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining the quality of products manufactured and packaged at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Oracle software for inventory management, including conducting monthly audits for spare parts management.
  • Engage in and promote safety training initiatives.
  • Assess and mitigate the financial implications of equipment downtime.
  • Conduct Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) training, documentation, and reporting.
  • Apply expertise in reliability and control systems, both electric and pneumatic.
  • Prioritize and manage both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including emergencies.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with industrial equipment.
  • Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures and communicate findings effectively.
  • Maintain and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Uphold and enforce safety standards and company policies.
  • Ensure organized and clean work areas in compliance with 5S standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, even when performing tasks outside the typical maintenance scope.

Continuous Improvement:
Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, contributing to cost-saving projects and activities.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • General upkeep of the facility and buildings.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and records management.
  • Promote safety awareness and provide backup for various plant functions, including utilities.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with relevant manufacturing experience; some college or technical school education is preferred.
  • Experience with packaging equipment is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in inventory tracking for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Skills in welding, pneumatics, electrical systems, plumbing, and troubleshooting.
