Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facility. This position is essential for managing inventory, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining the integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory management utilizing Oracle software, including conducting monthly audits for spare parts management (MRO).
- Advocate for and participate in safety training initiatives.
- Assess and mitigate the financial implications of equipment downtime.
- Conduct EHS training, documentation, and reporting.
- Apply expertise in reliability and control systems (both electric and pneumatic).
- Prioritize and manage both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with industrial equipment.
- Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures and communicate findings effectively.
- Maintain and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Enforce safety standards and company policies diligently.
- Ensure organized and clean workspaces in line with 5S standards.
- Collaborate with team members across various functions.

Continuous Improvement:
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cost-saving projects and operational efficiencies.

Additional Duties:
- Maintain the general upkeep of the facility and its buildings.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and documentation management.
- Promote safety awareness and provide support for various plant functions, including utilities.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with relevant manufacturing experience; additional education from a technical school is preferred.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Effective time management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Experience in inventory tracking for MRO and maintenance tasks.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance is required.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
- Skills in welding, pneumatics, electrical systems, plumbing, and troubleshooting are essential.
