Job Title: Traveling Millwright

Job Summary:

The Traveling Millwright is responsible for traveling to customer sites to install and repair industrial machinery and equipment. This position requires someone with extensive experience in MCCH Conveyor installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, be able to diagnose and solve problems, and be comfortable working independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to various job sites to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
  • Disassemble, move, and reassemble machinery and equipment
  • Align and level machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Work individually or on a team to execute repairs or installations
Requirements:
  • High School degree preferred
  • Current, valid driver's license with a safe driving history
  • Minimum of 3 years experience; Journeyman Millwright certificate or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to pass a standard weld test preferred
  • Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Rigging experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel frequently overnight and on weekends
