Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for patrons at the Falcon's Nest Club on Homestead Air Reserve Base. The ideal candidate will have experience in responsible clerical or office work, including demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems and making change when receiving payments from customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register, ring up sales, receive money, and make change
  • Process credit card sales and charge transactions to member accounts
  • Conduct daily inventories and maintain a clean and orderly sales area
  • Perform check-out duties, including totaling sales and processing credit card transactions
  • Assist with setting up the serving line, replenishing beverage dispensers, and ensuring kitchen staff is advised when the buffet line needs replenishment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in responsible clerical or office work, including experience with cash handling and customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Basic math skills and ability to make change
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Working Conditions

This position requires working irregular schedules, including weekends, holidays, and all shifts. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
