Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an OA/CTS Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment and arrival of applicants, as well as providing transitional support and placement services to exiting students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and coordinate the arrival of applicants, ensuring a seamless enrollment process.
  • Provide transitional support and placement services to exiting students, including career counseling and job placement assistance.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies, employment services, and local businesses to promote the Job Corps program and provide post-training placement opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicant eligibility for the Job Corps Program.
  • Secure and evaluate applicant behavioral, medical, and educational records.
  • Deny applicant enrollment and refer applicants to other educational resources as needed.
  • Provide personalized career counseling and evaluate student performance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Establish supportive/mentoring relationships with students during the Career Transition Phase.
  • Oversee, develop, monitor, and update student transition plans to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field from an accredited school.
  • Or Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field from an accredited school and two years related experience in youth programs.
  • Valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow all integrity guidelines and procedures, ensuring no manipulation of student data.
  • Ability to ensure the Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicant eligibility for the Job Corps Program.
  • Ability to secure and evaluate applicant behavioral, medical, and educational records.
  • Ability to deny applicant enrollment and refer applicants to other educational resources as needed.
  • Ability to provide personalized career counseling and evaluate student performance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ability to establish supportive/mentoring relationships with students during the Career Transition Phase.
