The Heavy Equipment Operator at Builders Firstsource, Inc. is responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport materials to construction sites. This role requires a valid CDL license and certification as a crane or boom operator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive delivery vehicles to transport materials to construction sites.
  • Load and unload heavy equipment, such as cranes and booms, in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Conduct daily inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including weights, quantities, and locations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of driving experience and one year of experience operating a boom or crane preferred.
  • Valid CDL license and certification as a crane or boom operator required.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently and 200 pounds occasionally.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
