Our projects are executed in a Progressive Design Build framework, ensuring long-term performance guarantees. We also offer comprehensive operations and maintenance services for our clients.

Our team of water and wastewater engineers possesses specialized expertise in the design and operation of treatment plants, as well as distribution and collection systems. Carrier remains neutral regarding products and technologies, allowing us to implement enhancements across various aspects of water and wastewater management. Our experience includes upgrades in areas such as pumping, aeration, control systems, digestion, biosolids processing, renewable energy generation, and cogeneration.

Role Overview

This position is designed for an experienced engineer specializing in water and wastewater treatment. The role involves engagement in multiple phases of projects, from identifying opportunities and supporting sales to initial concept development, design, construction, commissioning, and monitoring of key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all engineering aspects of water/wastewater projects from conceptualization through detailed design, construction, and commissioning in a collaborative Design/Build environment.
  • Participate actively in design review meetings and workshops with internal teams and clients.
  • Lead engineering activities during project development, including site assessments, data gathering, and preparation of design documents.
  • Assist in project pricing efforts alongside the construction department, including bid package preparation and subcontractor evaluations.
  • Support project teams during construction and commissioning phases to address design challenges and ensure performance targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate with sales and development teams to identify potential clients, conduct facility audits, and contribute to competitive proposal responses.
  • Analyze facility upgrades through equipment and system modeling.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Willingness to travel 20%-30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for Professional Engineer licensure.
  • Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in the water/wastewater sector.
  • Strong communication and engineering skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, technologies, and standards.
  • A commitment to fostering respectful and inclusive relationships within project teams.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in documentation.
