Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

Columbia Tech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality manufacturing processes for a wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products, ensuring high-quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop manufacturing processes, including ECO/ECNs, work instructions, and BOM creation.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing records, including Bills of Material, assembly and test procedures, and work instructions.
  • Provide technical assistance to production personnel and support floor personnel in assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Engage with Manufacturing Engineering and Production to develop and deploy assembly fixtures and tooling.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering Discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience working in an ISO regulated capital equipment product or contract manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with CAD (SolidWorks preferred), MS Office, MS Project, and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Solid technical aptitude and understanding of electro/mechanical assemblies.
  • Working knowledge of Business Process Software; MRP/PDM; Epicor E9/10 and SW EPDM software experience a plus.
Working Environment:

Generally works in an office environment, but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.

Occasional travel required.

Interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.

Must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
