About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Construction Supervisor to join our team at Ansco & Associates, LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of underground telecommunications cabling and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Direct, coordinate, and train crew members in the correct placement and repair of underground telecommunications cable, ensuring results meet contract and process specifications.
  • Quality Control: Ensure employees meet all safety, quality, and production goals according to company rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Drive and/or operate diesel or gasoline-powered equipment to/from/on job sites.
  • Locating and Flagging: Locate underground cable and perform flagging, property, or worksite restoration.
  • General Construction: Perform general construction work, including physical labor, using hand tools, lifting materials up to 50 lbs, etc.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect trucks/equipment for defects and maintain daily production sheets, OSHA logs, and other reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) and ability to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools.
  • Skills: Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities, demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
