Job Description

This role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring effective nursing coverage, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. As a Clinical Operations Manager - Oncology, you will collaborate with clinical personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training to ensure exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical support operations for all nursing clinical support activities
  • Maintain effective nursing staff coverage within budgetary constraints
  • Assist in determining staffing requirements between locations
  • Participate in the screening, interviewing, and recruiting of clinical personnel
  • Assist with reviewing and revising clinical policies and procedures
  • Verify documentation to ensure proper charges
  • Assist with annual performance evaluations for clinical staff
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
  • Current MN licensure and registration required
  • Current or pending OCN certification preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
