Dermatology Clinical Research Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist to support the scientific planning and execution of clinical trials focused on atopic dermatitis. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and analyze clinical studies, contributing your expertise and strategic insights to advance the development of groundbreaking dermatology therapies.
About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of clinical trial design, execution, and data analysis, as well as excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex scientific data. You will be responsible for collaborating with data management and biostatistics teams to develop and validate data collection tools, ensuring accurate and timely data capture. Additionally, you will foster relationships with clinical investigators, gathering insights and promoting collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clinical documents, including protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, and scientific publications/presentations.
- Contribute scientific input and implementation into study design and execution, selecting appropriate endpoints, patient populations, and study methodologies.
- Monitor clinical trials for quality and safety, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and quality standards.
- Analyze clinical trial data, interpret results, and provide scientific insights to guide decision-making.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have an advanced degree in a life science field (e.g., PhD, PharmD, or DVM) and 6-10 years of experience in research, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Your background should include strong understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and data analysis, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Salary Range: $240,000-$270,000 per year, depending on relevant experience, educational background, and geography.
