This is a seasonal LVN Nursing Float Pool position at Sharp Healthcare, where you will be servicing multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification and AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional certification.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in providing quality care to patients in the Sharp Rees-Stealy Occupational Health Program.
- Provide customer service, including greeting patients, escorting them to exam rooms, and ensuring their comfort while waiting.
- Manage daily operations, including telephone calls, patient flow, and physician schedules.
- Participate in clinical and department-specific meetings, technical in-services, and customer service training.
- Act as a trainer/mentor for new nurses and interns.
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional certification.
- 1 year of LVN experience in a related clinical area.
- CAOHC and Spirometry certification.
- 1 year of LVN experience in a related clinical area.
