Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to fill an Order Entry role. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in pharmacy operations, particularly in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.

Position Details

Role: Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry
Shift: Mid Shift (11am - 7pm), with rotating weekends
Duration: 12 weeks, with potential for permanent placement
Environment: Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently input prescription orders into the pharmacy management system.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure prompt and precise medication distribution.
  • Adhere to all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Support additional pharmacy operations as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid Pharmacy Technician license in New Mexico.
