We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Engineer to join our team at the National Electric Energy Testing, Research and Application Center (NEETRAC). As a Research Engineer, you will play a key role in conducting research and testing in our medium and high voltage testing laboratories.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in multiple projects in parallel, demonstrating a thorough understanding of electrical principles.
- Partner with NEETRAC customers to develop project proposals from their technical needs.
- Conduct robust and practical experimental programs, undertaking laboratory and field testing in a hands-on role.
- Recommend project ideas and improvements to NEETRAC Members.
- Undertake the curation and analysis of utility performance and measurement data.
- Travel for field work and technical interactions with members, as required.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering principles, excellent self-prioritization skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
