Position Overview

NYU Langone is in search of dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support to elderly or disabled individuals in their residences.


Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Meal preparation
  • Grocery shopping
  • Assisting with personal hygiene
  • Running errands
  • Light housekeeping duties

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare environment, such as a home health agency, hospital, hospice, or long-term care facility. This experience must be validated by a previous employer.

Additionally, candidates must hold a certificate from the State of Arkansas for employment in long-term care settings. A copy of this certification should be readily available for review.

Alternatively, completion of a 40-hour aide training program that meets the specified requirements is acceptable.

Nursing students may also qualify as home health aides by providing documentation from their educational institution confirming their competency in delivering basic nursing care as per the curriculum.
