Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including toileting, bathing, dressing, and feeding, as directed by the Director of Nursing or registered nurse supervisor.
  • Assist clients with active and passive range of motions, as defined by the plan of care.
  • Provide help with walking and transferring, and measure and document intake and output, if necessary.
  • Assist clients with self-administration of medication and perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and clean up.
  • Change bed linens and maintain an orderly client environment.
Requirements:
  • Over 18 years of age.
  • Licensed driver with reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
