About the Position:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable educator to join our team as an Educational Technology Integration Specialist.

This role requires collaboration with educators to seamlessly incorporate technology into their teaching methodologies in engaging and effective manners. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in educational theory, child development, and the integration of technology in classroom settings. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with educators to identify and implement suitable technology solutions that enhance instructional delivery and student participation.
2. Provide training and ongoing support for educators on how to effectively integrate technology into their lesson plans.
3. Collaborate with educators to embed media literacy, technology safety, and digital citizenship into the curriculum.
4. Assist in the setup and management of educational technology systems, including learning management platforms.
5. Oversee the annual distribution of devices to students, including guidance on proper usage and maintenance of technology.
6. Develop and facilitate professional development workshops for faculty focused on effective technology integration.
7. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide prompt assistance to educators and students.
8. Stay informed about emerging educational technologies and recommend tools that align with educational objectives.
9. Ensure the security and confidentiality of student and educator data within educational technology systems.
10. Act as the Technology Department liaison for parent inquiries and requests.
11. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

The Educational Technology Integration Specialist will also participate in community responsibilities such as serving on academic committees and supervising students during various school activities.

As this role supports faculty and academic staff, attendance at required meetings is expected.


Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience, ideally in humanities.
3. Strong grasp of educational pedagogy, curriculum design, and technology integration in classrooms.
4. Proficiency in managing educational technology tools, including learning management systems.
5. Experience with MacOS and iOS in educational settings.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Capability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and technical staff.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
9. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.

Preferred Skills:
1. Experience in delivering professional development and training sessions for educators.
2. Ability to adapt to new technologies and incorporate them into educational practices.
3. Experience in assessing the effectiveness of technology integration in education.
